There’s no doubt that hotel room service is convenient, but the expert say that there are some items you should skip when you pick up the menu. Here they are.
Most hotel staff will tell you that room service seafood will be cold and that it will stink up your hotel room.
For the same reason as seafood, you should skip anything with onions from room service. Unless you want to smell them until you check out.
It’s fun to indulge in crispy fries or onion rings when you’re on vacation, but most people will tell you that they will be soggy by the time they make it your room.
Hotel cooks will tell you that guacamole likely sits out for hours and isn’t all that fresh so you probably want to skip it.
Chances are they aren’t gourmet all all, but were previously frozen and not that gourmet after all.
Hotel staff say to have a steak, but to order it more rare than you usually like because it will continue cooking in the covered dish on its way to your room.
Instead of ordering coffee, make it yourself in your room because the stuff downstairs has probably been sitting for hours and won’t taste that great.
Your morning eggs will probably stink up your room and, like steak, they will continue cooking as they travel upstairs.
It’s an indulgent dish, but like many other foods, it will get overdone and soggy as it travels from the kitchen to your hotel room.
Experts say to save your money and order caviar in a restaurant because most fancy foods don’t live up to your expectations after their travels to your room.
